University of Barcelona Degree. University of Barcelona - Foundation Research Centre on Economics and Social Affairs The University of Barcelona (UB) constitutes the institutional framework where the Master's degree in Social Economy (MES-d) is developed. The University of Barcelona has extensive experience in organising study programmes for Third Cycle, Master's degrees and Postgraduate courses. This is complemented by the capability of the Foundation Research Centre on Economics and Social Affairs (CIES) in specific topics related to social economy, to offer the first Master's degree in Social Economy with a clear international orientation in Spain. The seventh (on-line) MES-d is added to the ten years of attendance MES, consolidating a Teaching Body with a high academic and professional level.
